Ard Chúram Day Care Centre invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit tenders for the supply, conversion (where applicable), and delivery of one new accessible 8-seater vehicle for the transportation of service users attending the Day Care Centre. The vehicle will be used to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transport for older persons and individuals with mobility challenges attending the centre and participating in community activities. The successful supplier shall provide a fully operational vehicle, registered and ready for service upon delivery. Ard Chúram Day Care Centre provides day care and community support services for older persons and individuals requiring additional support to access services and activities. The organisation is seeking to enhance its transport capacity through the procurement of an accessible vehicle capable of accommodating passengers with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users. Vehicle Requirements New vehicle The vehicle shall meet the following minimum requirements: Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) not exceeding 3,500kg. Suitable for operation by drivers holding a standard Irish Category B driving licence. Capacity for up to eight persons in total, including the driver, with flexible seating arrangements to accommodate passengers and mobility aids. Wheelchair-accessible conversion. Right-hand drive. Fully compliant with all Irish Road Traffic Regulations. Euro 6 compliant or equivalent low-emission vehicle. Air conditioning. Electric windows. Central locking. Reversing camera and parking sensors. Driver and passenger airbags. Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Bluetooth connectivity and hands-free communication. Adequate luggage/storage space. First aid kit and safety equipment. Manufacturer warranty of not less than three years. Accessibility Requirements Wheelchair accessible entry via rear or side access. Fold-out, manual or powered access ramp. Wheelchair restraint and occupant safety systems compliant with applicable standards. Adequate internal headroom and manoeuvring space. Non-slip flooring. Grab rails and passenger assistance features. Accessibility conversion certification provided. Vehicle fully compliant with relevant accessibility and passenger transport regulations. Delivery Requirements The successful supplier shall: Register the vehicle prior to delivery. Deliver the vehicle to Listowel. Provide full handover and operational training. Supply all manuals, warranty information, maintenance schedules, and certification documentation. Tender Submission Requirements Tenderers must provide: Company profile and relevant experience. Detailed vehicle specification and brochure. Accessibility conversion specification. Details of warranty and after-sales support. Proposed delivery timeframe. Total purchase price excluding VAT. Total purchase price including VAT. Details of servicing and maintenance support arrangements. References from at least two similar vehicle supply contracts completed within the previous three years. Confirmation of compliance with all requirements outlined in this tender. Conditions The Contracting Authority is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or any tender received. Tenderers shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of tenders. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to seek clarification or additional information from tenderers. The successful tenderer must comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, health and safety, and accessibility requirements. Award: All complaint quotations will be evaluated against the specified requirements set out and the supply cost, with the most suitable offer (not necessarily the lowest value) being selected thereafter.
