Description

Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Validation of a Dilution Refrigerator with Magnetic field, for Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork. The dilution refrigerator will be mainly in support of Tyndall National Institute's quantum transport activities, and specifically for the development of electronic qubits in e.g. semiconductor quantum dots. It will also support the development of novel quantum materials and devices. The dilution refrigerator, reaching less than 20 millikelvin in an unloaded configuration, will have to be equipped with a minimum, 3 Tesla superconducting magnet to allow probing advanced spin physics. It should also allow for sample direct and fibre based optical access. The system should be mountable/mounted on an optical table to allow easy integration with quantum optics experiments.
