Tenderers are invited to tender for the upgrade of the UCD Conway Institute Autoclave/Washroom facility located on the Belfield campus in University College Dublin. The primary purpose of this facility is for washing laboratory glassware and for sterilising materials (both infectious and non-infectious), instruments and wastes for the entire building. The facility was opened in 2003, and the equipment (operational in the same year) is now nearing the end of its life. It is the intention to replace the current set-up (5 Autoclaves and 6 Glass washers) with their modern equivalent. Some (limited) infrastructural changes are possible to accommodate the various sizes and configurations of equipment on the current market.
