Description

This Service Concession at the University of Galway, will involve a contract or contracts for pecuniary interest concluded in writing between University of Galway and the successful tenderer, to be known as โ€œthe Concessionaire.โ€ The Concessionaire will be appointed under a single-party framework agreement and will be responsible for the operation, management and development of Saol Cafรฉ, the Universityโ€™s Social Enterprise Cafรฉ located in the ILAS Building, together with the provision of associated hospitality catering services. The Concessionaire shall operate the service in accordance with social enterprise principles, including inclusive and supported employment, environmental sustainability and community engagement, while assuming the commercial risk of the operation and complying with all contractual, legislative and University policy requirements Please see Appendix 1 within the RFT for further information.
