Description

MTU - Munster Technological University request the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of two (2) lots: Lot 1 - Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence System (EDXRF Analyser) One (1) x EDXRF Analyser to deliver routine elemental measurements across a diverse range of matrices from low viscosity liquids to solids, metals, slurries, powders, pastes and thin films. Must be flexible and easy to use and appropriate for research, industrial and environmental monitoring applications. Must be suitable for both technical and non-technical operators. The instrument should be capable of conducting, with high precision and accuracy, quantitative, qualitative and semi-quantitative (standardless) analysis from sub-ppm level to one hundred percentage. Lot 2 - Biodegradation Test System One (1) x Biodegradation Test System for analysing the degradation of plastics, composting process, microbial activity studies, soil respiration rate, soil health, microbial respiration, etc along with the ability to control environmental conditions and measure gases to calculate biodegradation rates. Must be compliant with international norms such as ISO 14855 with options for different volume sample vessels and numbers.
