Description

As per the Prior Information Notice (PIN) published in February 2026, the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) intends to run a competitive procurement process for the Provision and Management of Laundry and Hire of Linen, Curtains, Workwear and Dust Mat Services to the Irish Public Sector (including the Health Sector) in 2026. As part of the procurement process, the OGP is issuing this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) document and invites responses from Economic Operators in the Linen and Laundry market. This is a market sounding exercise to obtain market information on the Provision and Management of Laundry and Hire of Linen, Curtains, Workwear and Dust Mat Services to assist in the development and structure of the upcoming Request for Tenders (RFT). This is also an opportunity for market players to provide valuable information to the OGP in respect of any issues or challenges and to submit any suggestions, which would enhance the Provision and Management of Linen and Laundry Services to Public Sector Bodies (PSBs) in Ireland.
