The scope of work involves a comprehensive geospatial survey of NCAD’s campus located in central Dublin, which can be characterized as a diverse collection of historic and modern buildings all of which are protected structures. The site includes several structures exhibiting notable architectural features and, the campus remains actively used by students and staff, leading to significant foot traffic throughout the day. The survey’s objective is to develop a detailed as-built digital record and a Level of Development (LOD) 400 Revit model to support future retrofit, building improvements, and digital asset management. Deliverables will include high-definition laser scanning, UAV rooftop and contextual captures, underground utility mapping, and comprehensive 2D and 3D documentation suitable for conservation and planning requirements. This survey will ultimately provide a foundational digital twin enabling ongoing preservation, maintenance, and development of the campus while respecting its historical significance and continuous daily use.
