Description

This voluntary ex-ante transparency VEAT notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin proposes to put in place a contract with Siemens Healthcare Medical Solutions Limited for the provision of a comprehensive service and maintenance agreement for the existing Siemens MAGNETOM Prisma M8588 3T MRI system based in the Trinity Institute of Neurosciences (TCIN), Trinity College Dublin. The service agreement includes: a) E-mail, telephone, and remote operation assistance; b) Software updates, typically implemented remotely; c) Service visits and all consumables (Helium) and all parts (wear and tear included), site visits and labor & travel costs related to hardware failure, planned maintenance and operation tests to ensure smooth running with minimal downtime, support of the system by Siemens trained service engineer through a secure remote connection, (e.g. TeamViewer(TM)) software and data system up-to-date and fully optimized. The contract is required to ensure the continued operation, maintenance, and support of the MRI system installed in 2021 and to maintain the equipment in good operational condition throughout its service life.
